How to make Persian Zaban Pastry
Zaban is a pastry made out of puff pastry dough popular in Iran. The only sweetener added to the dough is honey! Zaban means tongue in Farsi since it looks like a tongue :))

عسل ۳ قاشق غذاخوری
آب ولرم ۲ قاشق چایخوری
شکر مقداری
پودر پسته یا نارگیل برای تزئین
Ingredients:
Puff pastry ( Based on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEwstR-LE8A or one ready to use ones)
3Tbs Honey
2tsp Warm Water
A little sugar for topping
Crushed pistachios or shredded coconuts for design (optional)
In a 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) preheated oven for 7 to 10 minutes then lower the temperature to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until the top is golden
